Almost The End of a Long Week

This has been the longest week of my life. On the one hand I am glad it is Thursday because it is almost Friday, however, on the other it is not that great because I still have to get through tomorrow. I took a long nap this afternoon though so I am ready.
After school we went to a brew pub called Hopworks and I had a slice of pizza.
Their cheese pizza is the best because it has so much flavor within each part. They use several cheeses, garlic oil, very flavorful sauce, and a nice wheaty crust. They list where all of their ingredients are from to show how healthful they are so it is a plus.

After, since we were already across town, we decided to go to our favorite bakery, Delphina's, today.
I never ever get tired of their moist and buttery cream scones.

Howie was cute again by the sink tonight :)

Midweek Fun...

Well, I started my art history class today and it was not too bad, it was slightly interesting. The problem is that the teacher moves so dang fast with so much information thrown at you at once. Oh well, all I can do is try. However, my philosophy class is pretty cool.

This afternoon I was feeling kind of "blah" again and I saw some overripe bananas on the counter. So of course I whipped up a banana bread. It was not pretty enough to take a picture.
For dinner, I was not in the mood for burgers with the rest of my family so I had a Chicken Rice-a-Roni and a chicken breast cut into pieces. Yum.

Afterwards, my mom showed up with some Lofthouse cookies as they were on sale from easter. I have not had these in years. They were doughy, floury, and too sweet, just like I remembered and still love.

I had to have one of each color of course :)

Oh and recently, the kitty at my sister's house has found his new favorite spot...
Howie is so funny. He licks absolutely everything.

Sneaky Kitty Cat

My kitty was a sneaky boy the past two nights.
So two days ago, I walk into my room after not sleeping there the night before and I see this on the floor...
There were two slices of wheat bread in a plastic bag on the counter in my kitchen. My little Marty Moose dragged the bag into my room, and due to his lack of thumbs, he was not able to open the seal. So instead he absolutely annihilated the bag and had a little snack, meanwhile leaving little clusters of crumbs and small pieces of plastic all over my room.
But this was not all. There was a second bag.
This one he not only dragged across the house to my room, but also pulled up on to my bed. (The picture does not show the numerous punctures in the plastic.)

Then this morning, he decided to try a new flavor.
He cut into this Pumpkin Spice Clif bar, but this was not his flavor as only the icing was bitten off.

Man I wish I had a night camera.

Happy Thursday

Today was a working day but it was good for me. Since I am taking an online class, I have a lot of work to do on my own time and there are things due every Saturday and Sunday nights. Normally I put it off until Friday night and Saturday morning, because I do not have a life, so I can do that. However, Kerby (my sister) invited over our friend (was my friend, now is really hers) for tomorrow. So I decided to do my work yesterday and today and feel great to have it done.
However I just realized that there is a movie to watch and an essay to write due monday that I did not know about, so I am still going to have to do that on Saturday. But, oh well, it is almost spring break (not that I am going to do anything, I just sit at home on the computer).

Well, that was pretty much my day.
I had another breakfast in the car because I can't seem to get up at a decent time.
Today it was Lance Toasty Peanut Butter Crackers and a Market Pantry Chocolate Chewy Bar, but they were hard to eat due to a presentation I had in my Sustainability class. (Which ended terribly since I winged it).

After class, I was feeling lazy so I tossed some cheese between two corn tortillas and threw it in the toaster.
Not fancy, but it worked. Especially with all of my snacks I enjoyed including some pretzels.
Sticks are the only way to go.

After working on homework, I came back to my parents house for a bit to see my buddy.
I now shall introduce Marty Moose.
He is pretty dumb, clumsy, purrs louder than any cat I have ever heard, and is very loving. He took an extreme liking to me, but not really anyone else in the family unless they are eating oatmeal.
He is rather small but eats like a big dog.
Not just his own food though as here is what happens when you leave homemade oatmeal cookies on the counter...
But thats not all. One day he opened a factory sealed white chocolate granola bar and ate all of it but left the mini chocolate chips spread all over the floor.

Gotta Love Sundays

Along with Sunday is the feeling of having to prepare for the week looming over head.
On the bright side, I went out for a fun lunch with my mom and sister.
I was craving some crispy shoestring fries today, and I got my wish. Along with a plain, old, sweet corndog.
After, reality set in that I had homework to do, so I was reading The Other Wes Moore all evening for my Sustainability class. It is a pretty interesting book as it is about people and I like studying sociology more than sustainability, however I would have rather been surfing the internet or watching a movie. Plus I have to meet with an academic advisor in the morning and have no idea what I am going to say.

Last, through procrastination and going through my phone picture to delete some to make more space, I stumbled across a cute picture.
This is my sister's cat Howie. He is quite a funny little ball of energy, which is the complete opposite with my cat at home who is curled up on my lap. Anyway, since he never sits still, and is black, he is very hard to get a picture of him that is not just a dark blurry blob. I enjoy that when I sleep at my sister's house, where I cannot bring my cat, he sleeps with me, however it is not fun to wake up to an attacker at the foot of the bed after any sudden movement.
