Finally Had Some Fun

Yesterday was kind of cool because Kerby and my friend came over and she gave me my late birthday present.

She knows me so well. Starbucks tea, a mug, a necklace, some nail polish, and kitty socks :)
All so usable.

Then we went to my absolute favorite pizza place.

Stark Street Pizza Co. has this crackery, thin, bubble crust which makes a layer of chewy crust above it, then topped with sweet, non chunky sauce, which is my favorite. Something about individual size pizzas get me excited, especially because I can choose my toppings, which of course it extra cheese with lots of black olives (no one else I knows likes this, but this has been my fav forever).

Last, we circled around downtown for a parking spot to get an ice cream.

We went to Ben and Jerry's and I choose Phish Food. The chocolate was decadent, but there were way too many dark chocolate fishes which were not very good (since they were dark chocolate, they tasted like bitter nothingness when paired with cold ice cream). Plus there was only that one bit of marshmallow in the whole giant scoop! (Yes, that is considered ONE scoop).

Love to Run Errands

This morning I woke up late but made it on time for my advising appointment for choosing a major frustration, which I did not know I needed, but did help a lot. So it ran over and I missed a quarter of my statistics class. Oops.
Anyways, after school I was not in the mood to sit at home all afternoon so I decided to tag along with what my mom was doing.
The first stop was for me to pick up my favorite fast food lunch.
Starbucks Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon Breakfast Sandwiches are the bomb, especially with a black iced tea on this sunny day.

I absolutely adore sweet, crispy english muffins with gooey cheese. And the turkey bacon has a peppery flavor which is a great complement.

Next, we went to turn in cans at the bottle return, and we turned in enough that it payed for a new concealer for me.

I have had very bad skin lately, probably with stress as it is the end of the term, or the junk I have been eating, and none of the makeup I use stays on all day. So when I get to my Spanish class where I have to talk to some of the guys around me, I am embarrassed by my bad skin. So we shall see how long Revlon 24-hour Colorstay Concealer really lasts.

Next, I was craving a Trader Joe's Run, and I picked out some yummy stuff to make some quicky tacos tonight, as well as my favorite cookies from childhood.

I completely forgot how absolutely wonderful these Trader Joe's Cinnamon Schoolbook cookies taste. They are better than any of the mediocre vanilla flavored animal cookies I have been snacking on, plus they are unique letters and numbers. They taste like a light and crunchy ginger or spice cookie, I am afraid I may eat the whole tub. I just finished a bowl of them, so I better go get some more.

Just a Few Things

So after wearing my new glasses for a couple hours, they were giving me an awful headache. The problem was that I did not get the antiglare lenses! So I had to go get that fixed because once you go glare free, you definitely cannot go back to normal glasses.

Also, I got some awfully cute shoes as late birthday presents today.

There are two pairs of Sperry Topsiders which I never thought I would own in a million years, but when I tried them on, they were absolutely adorable. I thought they would look clunky but they were the complete opposite. I also got some new purple Converse but I totally love this sleeker style than the basic all-stars that I have way too many old pairs of. Last were some coral flats with a girly cutout flower pattern. They are all such springy colors so I cannot wait for the rain to go away.

I also opened my new Kate Spade phone case and put it on, so I though I would share it too.
I just love glitters lately :)

It was a Wonderful Day 1

Who new that the first real day of my new blogging aspiration would actually be kind of interesting. I had some bloggable snacks and went shopping :)

First of all, I began my day with a greek yogurt I had never tried before which I always get soooo excited when I have a new one.
It was Voskos Honey and Vanilla bean and when I opened it, there were actual little beans in there! Anyways, it was a little more honey flavor than I would of liked, but overall it was pretty good with a rich, thick texture.

After classes, and a quick lunch I threw together, I had to go pick up the new glasses I ordered for my birthday. I completely forgot what they looked like, so I was kind of nervous.
But then I remembered, how could I have gone wrong with Kate Spade on sale? The lower ones are the Lucyann, black, with cute, pink stripes on the inside. The top ones are tortoise shell Regine. Their pink case was even adorable with the lurking eyes on the inside.

While we were already out, my mom had to return some clothes to JC Penney, so we headed over to the mall. I had never been there but who knew they had such a good clearance section?!

I ended up with a skirt, tights, three shirts, five tank tops, jeans and this neat, simple black dress. Not a bad little shopping haul if you ask me, especially since everything was $10 or less!

After all of this, I had to dig into the cookie I got at the little store on campus.

Fairlight Bakery makes a delightful Vanilla Frosted Cookie with Rainbow Sprinkles. Not only is it pretty to look at. It tastes devine. The frosting is dry and crumbly, which may sound odd, but it is a complementary texture to the melt in your mouth cookie, and neither overpower each other. Trust me, it was big, and it was gone fast.

Now, I have to prepare for my Statistics, Spanish, and Sociology midterms tomorrow with a couple pieces of cheesy goodness for dinner.
