Busy Busy

I have been really busy lately with the amount of school work I have this term. After I switched from Criminology to Art History, I switched again to Minorities (sociology). It is soooo much more my style, the problem is I had a lot of catching up to do.
Anyway, I went to lunch after school today at Laughing Planet.
Burrito, yum.
Love the warm, chewy tortilla
It was stuffed with huge pinto beans, rice, and gooey cheese. It was amazing!!!

Then home to read textbooks :(
But I did have something interesting for dinner.
Annie's all stars pasta in tomato sauce blows spaghetti-o's away.

Plus some POCKY! I forgot how much I love these little guys. Oops forgot a picture.

Terrible Morning

So Kerby and I get to the parking garage at school and find it full which means we have to be on the hunt for street parking. We found a spot but it was only an hour long which meant that it would only go until 10:50 even though we had class until 12:15. We decided that since I had a break in my classes from 10:50 to 11, I would move the car.
But, it did not go as planned... I was circling for parking until 11:40...
I was 45 minutes late to the first day of class! How does that reflect on me? I hate being late.

After class, I was not in a good mood so my sister said, let's stop for pizza. I was like 'Yeah!'.
It was a great idea, until I heated the slices up in the oven and slightly burned them (typically).

Last, to end the day I decided it was a cookie baking kind of day so I went for some oatmeal cookies. The scent definitely made me forget. Doesn't the smell of fresh baked cookies make everyone happy? :)

Ehh.. School...

After not falling asleep until two in the morning and rolling around half the night, waking up at 8 was not easy. Plus I was not looking forward to sitting in classes for 3 and a half hours either, so that made it even more difficult.
When I got to philosophy I was too tired to think, which I though was funny because philosophy is thinking about thinking... But so far it looks like it is going to be my most enjoyable class, which is awesome. (Plus it is always funny when a professor walks in on the first day, asks to be sure that he is in the right class by saying some really hard class and seeing people who have a mini freak out and fall for it.)

Spanish was just spanish. Same teacher. Some familiar faces. Lots of group work and awkwardness.

In between classes I did have a laugh. I was sitting on a bench, eating a granola bar, and trying to read but there was this girl on the bench over there.
She was making so many weird noises and it was odd and quite distracting.

Anyways, last I had criminal justice. As soon as the professor walked in, I knew I would hate it... and I soon found out that I did. So this afternoon, I dropped it like a hot potato and added art history. It will cover prehistoric to medieval times, so I think it should be cool.

After school I was riding downtown with my sister when we saw this.
It was a rag doll hung out of a window to look like a real person. We were like 'what the heck...'. But then we realized it was april fools day.

First Kick of Spring Before Spring Term

Yesterday was so nice, like 75 degrees, that I decided to take a day off of the computer and go outside.
So I threw together a lunch (and a couple bags of snacks), water, and my kindle and headed for the sun.
I had toasted Dave's bread with the sweet and tangle Einstein's honey almond smear.

By the evening, I was tired out from all of the sun. I wanted something filling for dinner that wouldn't take long. I found some rotini, which is my absolute favorite noodle ever!

I didn't want sauce so I found this cheese blend from Trader Joe's.

Now today was Easter but it isn't really celebrated in my family. I ended up sunburned after yesterday so I knew it needed to be an inside day, but I needed something to do to get my mind of off school tomorrow (I am so nervous).
So I decided to do a little reorganizing.
In the beginning I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into...

After a couple of hours, I had to take a break so I sat outside in the shade with an iced tea before getting back to work.

By the end of the day I felt I did a pretty good job, even though I feel that I am never finished.

I kind of had to quit because it turned out that my family was planning on having a nice dinner tonight for fun. So I had to help peel the potatoes.
We had flame roasted ham, mashed potatoes with cheese, crescent rolls, and my favorite, mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar. Yummy.

After a long day, I realized I had to get my stuff ready for tomorrow and get to bed early. No more getting up at 10, I have class at 9 this term :(

Statistics Final Day

So my final exam for statistics was rough, but hey, I am done! I am itching to see how I did.
Anyway I did get some yummy food today.
For lunch, my dad took me to Arby's. Gotta love their value menu.

This used to be my favorites fast food, but after not eating fast food much lately, I realize how not great it is... Oh well.
I also gave my little bud Gino a bath today.

Then, I told my mom I wanted to go to my favorite bakery. Delphina's is the only place around that I know of to find a plain/cream scone. They are almost always sold out, but today they have one left!
I wish I could find more places that carry something like them, like a grocery store or somewhere closer. I have tried making them but it is so hard.

Plus, yesterday at the dollar store my sister spotted these and had to get these.
They are the Jelly Belly factory mistakes, also called Belly Flops. We love to have her give me the flavors and I close my eyes and guess.

Later, I was not feeling well when the rest of my family was shopping so I read in the car :(
But, on a bathroom break on Starbucks I decided to get a little something. I had only ever had their plain bagel that I didn't like, but I saw a multigrain one today.

The Starbucks multigrain bagel is amazing! There are lots of seeds, flax, and whatever other good stuff in there.

Once it was toasted and a dollop of cream cheese was applied, I gobbled it up. YUM!

Slump Day

It's the middle of the week, I am not too excited for my classes next term, and I really wish I had the courage to get a job.
For classes, I settled with Sustainability, Spanish, Philosophy, and Criminology/Criminal Justice. I wish I could have added a health class too but it was later in the day, it would cost more money, and that would really take out my wish for a job.

Anyways, I had to wake up early for registration to be sure I got what I wanted, so then I went back to bed for a little nap... Which ended up kind of long, so I had some another grab-and-go style breakfast.

(However, I have decided that I am going to post all of the things that I eat during the day in my day posts, but my reviews of snacks in other posts.)
This morning I choose yet another Lance Sandwich Crackers and a granola bar, but these two were both new to me.

First I devoured some Lance ToastChee Crackers with Real Peanut Butter.

Next, I needed a little sweet to calm the saltiness from the crackers and I ate a FiberPlus Antioxidants Chocolate Chip Chewy Bar, which ended up overcompensating the saltiness.

Last I went to a long day of class, even though two and a half hours is not long, today it felt like it. This was because during the walks I have to take before and in between my classes, it was pouring so it was a wet and cold day. When my sister, Kerby, and I got back, we just wanted to get in some comfy sweats, watch tv, and have a warm lunch (plus I had a cup of tea).
This picture doesn't look appetizing, but it was a waffle fries and Trader Joe's Macaroni and Cheese kind of day. Plus I got caught up on Dance Moms.

Once I reenergized, Kerby wanted cookies, and I thought, why not bake? So I whipped up the easiest kind I know like the back of my hand.

Warm Russian Tea Cakes out of the oven are perfectly comforting on a rainy day.

After working on my online class all afternoon, while watching tv, the day just flew by. However, my grandma brought be a slice of pizza.

I love Pizzicato Cheese Pizza because it is plain and gooey, plus they swear to use only good and healthy ingredients, which is a plus in my book. (This picture does not do it justice though as I picked off some tomato chunks before remembering to take a pic...)

Now I am going to call it a night and watch the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with some cookies.

Class Registration Tomorrow

I have looked through all of the class options offered atleast five times and I am still having quite a rough time. The problem is all of the intro classes are at conflicting times with my required year long class or are full.
Basically I know I am finishing my year long class which is Sustainability. Also, I am continuing Spanish. But I still have two more to take.
My options are all introduction classes:
Philosophy: which sounds okay.
Biological Anthropology: Uhh, not sure what to think.
Criminology and Criminal Justice: sounds a tad boring.

Well this is the first thing I have to do in the morning so I am going to sit down to a yummy Dreyer's Rocky Road Ice Cream (marshmallowy textured not too rich chocolate ice cream, with melty mini marshmallows, and almond pieces), and contemplate for a few more hours.

Oh and my cup of tea of course
(I have not yet mentioned that I have been addicted to tea since I learned to walk. Hot or Iced, I drink at least 5 cups a day. Never been a day without it except outdoor school when I was 12)
